No, we’re not talking about that “both ways”, even though that pic of the Biebs suggest we are. What we’re really talking about is the hastag “get u a man who can do both”, which is trending now on the Twittersphere. It’s essentially a saying that’s attached to a photo of some dude looking wildly different in two pictures. The idea is to poke fun at one, while admiring the other. Of course, the real goal of getting a man that can do both is to find one that not only can dress for the street, but also, for that very important meet-and-greet with your parents (i.e. rocking a killer suit). So let us look at the men who can really do it both better than anyone else.
The king of soccer, and fashion, no one in the sports world looks sharper in streetwear, and formal wear than David Beckham. He fully embraces his British roots with his impeccably tailored suits, while at the same time, keeping pace with his trendy 16-year-old son’s casual game.
Want to know who the world’s best-dressed man over 60 is? This man right here. Jeff Goldblum. Be it his Hollywood tux, or stellar Saint Laurent leather jacket – the dude’s killing it on, and off the red carpet.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ryan Gosling out since he’s had his baby. But until we see otherwise, Ryan is still the man who rocks both the tux – and the ‘suns-out guns-out tank-top’ better than anyone.
When it comes to rap, none does it both better than Drake. Whether we’re seeing coach Drake, or champagnepapi Drake, both are always on point.
When you look this good, it’s hard to screw up any outfit. Yes, Brad Pitt has it easy in the “Do Both” category. He gets in by default.
Perhaps the only contender to Brad’s “Do Both” Hollywood throne is Mr. Jake Gyllenhaal. Jake has this way of infusing his own unique style into what he rocks, be it on the red carpet, or in red sneakers.
Since we’re doing second place prizes here, other than Beckham, no athlete comes closer to “Doing Both” better than Tom Brady. The man is just as slick on field, and off. Although, he does get a bit of help from his supermodel arm candy.
Hard to believe, but the Biebs is coming of age. At least when he makes it nice and puts on a suit. But we can’t knock his streetwear either. While it may not be everyone’s thing, he does make it his own.
